Who is Maya Angelou?
Maya Angelou is one of the people whom I have great admiration for. She was a writer, poet and civil rights activist. She went through a lot in life, and has written autobiographies about the hard times she has had. These books has brought her international recognition and acclaim.
She was also active in the Civil Rights Movement. And worked with awesome people like Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X.
These words – Try to Be a Rainbow in Someone’s Cloud – truly inspire me. The idea of being the brilliant colors in someone’s else’s life is something I feel everyone should do. Of course, it is not always easy. But it is something wonderful to aspire to.
