My odyssey commenced on the eve of my scheduled colonoscopy, marked by an unsettling night of vomiting that landed me in the hospital. The diagnosis was swift – colorectal cancer. To address the immediate blockage issue, a colonostomy was performed. Subsequent treatments included radiotherapy and chemotherapy, guided by the expertise of my medical team.
