Our existence isn’t confined just to our physical bodies. We all possess a spiritual self, an essence that vibrates beyond the limitations of the material world.

Think of it as a radiant light within you, a tiny spark of the universal consciousness. It’s the part of you that craves connection, purpose, and a sense of belonging to something bigger.

This spiritual self isn’t a religious concept, but a universal truth.

It’s the essence of who you are at your core, the wellspring of love, compassion, and intuition. By nurturing this connection, you open yourself to a world of peace, understanding, and a deeper sense of self-awareness.

Find a comfortable position, either seated with your back straight or lying down.

  1. Deep Breaths and Relax: Close your eyes gently and take a few deep breaths, inhaling peace and exhaling any tension. Feel your body sink into the surface you’re on, becoming fully present in this moment.
  2. Awareness of Breath: Now, bring your awareness to your breath. Feel the rise and fall of your chest with each inhalation and exhalation. Notice the natural rhythm of your breath, without trying to control it. If your mind wanders (it’s completely normal!), simply acknowledge the thought and gently guide your attention back to your breath.
  3. Body Scan: Take a few moments to scan your body. Start at your toes and slowly work your way up, noticing any sensations of tightness, relaxation, warmth, or coolness. Don’t judge anything, just observe with gentle curiosity. As you reach the top of your head, release any remaining tension and allow your body to be completely at ease.
  4. Bring in Divine Love: Now, visualize a soft, gentle white light flowing down from above, and into your body. This is the Divine Love energy. It flows through your crown chakra, to your entire body, and into your heart center. It is pure and radiant. Imagine it as a warm glow, filled with love and compassion.
  5. Expanding the Light: As you continue to breathe deeply, imagine this light expanding and growing brighter. Feel it fill your entire being, radiating outwards to encompass your whole body. With each inhale, allow this light to become stronger, and with each exhale, release any negativity or blockages that might be hindering its growth.
  6. Connecting with Your Spiritual Self: Spend some time basking in the warmth and love of this inner light. As you enjoy the Divine Love energy, imagine a light being inside you. This light being is your spiritual self, the radiant essence of your being. Reach out and connect to your spiritual self. Feel the sense of connection, peace, and belonging that arises from this space. You can silently ask your spiritual self for guidance, support, or simply express gratitude for its presence. Notice any unique characteristics of your spiritual self. It can be a feeling, a symbol, or simply a sense of presence.
  7. Returning to the Present: When you feel ready, gently wiggle your fingers and toes, bringing your awareness back to the present moment. Take a few deep breaths and slowly open your eyes, carrying the warmth and peace of your spiritual connection with you throughout your day.
